Well Completion Intervention & Workover Operations for Well Engineers & Field Technicians (WCIWEFT) Level 1

$1250.00 $350.00 exc VAT

Purpose

This course is designed to provide participants with a strong foundation in well completion, intervention, and workover operations. The training aims to prepare them for more advanced levels of training where they can further enhance their skills and knowledge in handling complex wellbore challenges and optimizing well performance.

Well Completion Intervention & Workover Operations for Well Engineers & Field Technicians (WCIWEFT) Level 1 is designed for Well Completion Engineers, Drilling Engineers, Field Engineers, Project Engineers, Well Engineers and those involved directly in drilling operations.

Course Objectives

The objective of WCIWEFT Level 1 is to equip well engineers and field technicians with a fundamental understanding of well completion, intervention, and workover operations. By the end of this level, participants should be able to comprehend the basic concepts, equipment, and procedures involved in these operations.

The training aims to develop the participants’ technical skills and knowledge necessary to perform well completion, intervention, and workover activities safely and effectively. Upon completion of WCIWEFT Level 1, participants should be capable of executing basic well intervention and workover tasks under supervision.

Description

WCIWEFT Level 1 is a training program designed for well engineers and field technicians involved in well completion, intervention, and workover operations. It covers the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to perform these operations safely and efficiently.

WCIWEFT Level 1 introduces participants to the basic concepts and techniques used in well completion, intervention, and workover operations. It covers topics such as wellbore architecture, completion equipment, well control, wellhead maintenance, and basic intervention methods.

Participants in WCIWEFT Level 1 learn about the various components of a well completion system, including casing, tubing, packers, and downhole equipment. They gain an understanding of the principles behind well control and the procedures involved in maintaining wellhead integrity during intervention and workover activities.

The training emphasizes practical application through hands-on exercises and simulations. Participants are provided with opportunities to practice well completion, intervention, and workover techniques in a controlled environment to develop their technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

WCIWEFT Level 1 also emphasizes the importance of safety in well operations. Participants learn about the hazards associated with completion, intervention, and workover activities and are trained to follow industry best practices and safety protocols to mitigate risks and ensure the wellbore integrity throughout the operations.

Well Completion Intervention & Workover Operations for Well Engineers & Field Technicians (WCIWEFT) Level 1 course covers Open Hole Well Completion, Cased Hole Completion, Types Of Completion, Well Intervention, Formation Damage, Completion Type, Well Stimulation, Work Over Operations, Job Design and more.
