The Subsea Structures Installation & Hydrodynamics Analysis (SSIHA) Course Using ORCAFLEX was a very insightful, highly technical and at the same time exciting experience which gave a wider perspective to oil & gas with respect to Subsea Engineering. Critical structures in Subsea exploration, development, production, transport, repair and maintenance; material composition; design specifications, allowances, limits; and principles of operation were covered indepth. Subjects like flexible piping, steel catenary risers, PLEM/PLET/PLAT, Mooring, buoyancy, pull-in analysis all coupled with complete model simulations were covered.
I would like to thank the instructors from Chess Subsea Engineering for aptly doing justice to the course. After undergoing the course i gained considerable weight technically and academically i must say.
