Description
The PLMCE Level 1 course is designed to provide comprehensive training on the principles and practices of piping layout, materials selection, and corrosion engineering in various industrial applications.
This course covers the fundamental concepts of piping design, including pipe routing, fittings, supports, and instrumentation, as well as the selection of materials based on their mechanical and corrosion resistance properties.
Participants will learn about the different types of piping systems, such as process piping, utility piping, and offshore piping, and gain knowledge on industry standards, codes, and regulations relevant to piping layout.
The Level 1 course focuses on introducing participants to corrosion engineering, including corrosion mechanisms, corrosion control techniques, and the selection of corrosion-resistant materials for different environments and process conditions.
Through theoretical lectures, practical exercises, and case studies, participants will develop a solid understanding of piping layout, materials selection, and corrosion engineering principles, enabling them to contribute effectively to engineering projects involving piping systems.
Piping Layout Materials & Corrosion Engineering (PLMCE) Level 1 covers Piping System Layout Development, Piping Components & Access Requirement, Piping Straight Length Requirement & Orientation of Various Tapings, Components etc.,Piping Drains & Vents, Piping Insulations, Piping Material & Sizing, Critical Piping Systems & Consideration, Pipe Stress Analysis & Pipe Support, Plant layout, Pipe Fittings & Classification, Valves Classification & Pipe Routing, Piping Stress Analysis Objectives, Support Requirements & Types of Supports, Piping Materials Engineering and more.
