Offshore Jacket Structures Design & Analysis with SACS (OFSDA) Level 1 to Level 2

Original price was: $3450.00.Current price is: $1550.00. exc VAT

Purpose

The purpose of the OFSDA Level 1 to Level 2 course is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of offshore jacket structures design and analysis using the SACS software. The course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to design safe, efficient, and structurally sound offshore jacket platforms.

OFSDA Level 1 to Level 2 gives a comprehensive understanding of offshore fixed platform with comprehensive analyses, including full non-linear, dynamic, and impact effects. Use integrated modules to model pile-soil interaction and apply wind, wave, seismic, ship impact, dropped object, and blast loads.

Course Objectives

  • This course aims to bridge the knowledge gap in offshore jacket structure design and analysis. It provides participants with a strong foundation in structural design principles, load analysis, and member sizing specific to jacket structures in offshore environments. The purpose is to develop professionals who can contribute effectively to the design and analysis of offshore jacket platforms.
  • The OFSDA Level 1 to Level 2 course aims to address the unique challenges and considerations associated with designing offshore jacket structures. It covers topics such as fatigue analysis, advanced load combinations, and dynamic response analysis, enabling participants to understand the complexities involved in designing structures for offshore environments.
  • By completing the OFSDA Level 1 to Level 2 course, participants will gain the necessary expertise to perform advanced design and analysis using the SACS software. The purpose is to develop professionals who can optimize jacket structure designs, assess structural integrity, and meet industry standards and regulations.

Description

The OFSDA Level 1 course is designed to provide participants with a foundational understanding of offshore jacket structures design and analysis using the SACS software. It covers topics such as structural design principles, load analysis, and member sizing specific to jacket structures in offshore environments.

The OFSDA Level 2 course builds upon the knowledge gained in Level 1 and focuses on advanced design and analysis techniques using the SACS software. It delves deeper into topics such as fatigue analysis, advanced load combinations, and dynamic response analysis, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the complex processes involved in designing offshore jacket structures.

Both the Level 1 and Level 2 courses emphasize practical applications and hands-on learning. Participants will gain experience using the SACS software to model, analyze, and design offshore jacket structures, allowing them to apply the learned principles to real-world projects.

The courses also cover relevant industry standards and guidelines specific to offshore jacket structures design. Participants will become familiar with codes and regulations governing offshore structures, ensuring compliance and safety in the design process.

Upon completion of the OFSDA Level 1 and Level 2 courses, participants will possess the necessary knowledge and skills to design and analyze offshore jacket structures using the SACS software. They will be capable of performing structural calculations, evaluating design options, and ensuring the structural integrity of offshore jacket platforms.
