Purpose

To develop the highly specialized skills and knowledge required for Offshore Dredging Operations, Tooling & Techniques (ODOPTT) at Level 2. ODOPTT Level 1 & Level 2 is meant for dredging technicians, dredgers, engineers and those switching careers into dredging operations.

Course Objectives

The primary objective of the Offshore Dredging Operations, Tooling, Techniques & Project Management (ODOPTT) Level 1 course is to provide participants with a solid foundation of knowledge regarding offshore dredging operations. This includes understanding the various types of dredging equipment, their functions, and the basic techniques employed in offshore dredging projects.

The Level 1 course aims to familiarize participants with project management principles as they relate to offshore dredging operations. It covers project planning, scheduling, and resource management, with a focus on the unique challenges and considerations inherent to offshore environments.

The main objective of the ODOPTT Level 2 course is to build upon the knowledge acquired in Level 1 and delve deeper into advanced tooling and techniques used in offshore dredging.
