Description
The HIPPS Level 1 course aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to design, install, operate, and maintain HIPPS Level 1 systems in high-pressure environments. Upon completion of the course, participants will be well-prepared to contribute effectively to HIPPS projects and ensure the safety and integrity of equipment and pipelines in their respective industries.
High Integrity Pressure Protecting System (FHIPPS) Level 1 covers in details HIPPS Systems used in deep and ultra deep subsea field development, applications of HIPPS systems subsea, HIPPS systems major components i.e. pressure transimitters, logic, redundant barrier valves etc., HIPPS system connections subsea, Top side equipments i.e. Master control system, Electrical power unit, Uninterruptible power supply (UPS), Hydraulic power unit, Umbilical and termination/distribution unit, HIPPS subsea control module and mounting base, SAM and mounting base, Hydraulic jumpers, Process barrier valves and position indicators, Maintenance, venting, and test valves etc. Working principle & trouble shooting of HIPPS System, Subsea HIPPS components and their functions, Subsea HIPPS design considerations, Risk assessment and safety analysis, Pressure relief valve selection and sizing, Pressure transducer selection and installation, Control system design and operation, Installation and integration of Subsea HIPPS components, Testing and verification of Subsea HIPPS functionality, Subsea HIPPS maintenance and troubleshooting, Subsea HIPPS activation and deactivation, Alarm management and notification, Subsea HIPPS response to pressure deviations, Examples of successful Subsea HIPPS installations, Overview of industry standards and regulations for Subsea HIPPS design and operation and more. and more.
FHIPPS Level 1 is designed to provide detailed knowledge of high integrity pressure protecting system (HIPPS) and will assist those who are switching or enhancing there career in deep and ultra deepwaters subsea engineering.
