Description
STEEM Level 1 is a comprehensive master class focused on solar thermal energy engineering. It provides participants with a foundational understanding of the principles, technologies, and applications of solar thermal systems for heat and power generation.
STEEM Level 1 covers a wide range of topics related to solar thermal energy, including solar collectors, heat transfer fluids, thermal storage, system design, and integration with conventional energy systems.
Participants in STEEM Level 1 learn about the different types of solar collectors used in solar thermal systems, such as flat-plate collectors, evacuated tube collectors, and parabolic troughs. They gain insights into the design considerations, operating principles, and performance optimization of these collectors.
The master class provides an overview of heat transfer fluids and thermal storage technologies used in solar thermal systems. Participants learn about the characteristics and selection criteria for heat transfer fluids, as well as the various methods and materials for thermal energy storage.
STEEM Level 1 combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Participants engage in case studies, simulation exercises, and discussions to deepen their understanding of the engineering principles and real-world challenges associated with solar thermal energy systems.
Solar Thermal Energy Engineering Master Class (STEEM) Level 1 course explores all the major aspects of Solar Thermal Energy Engineering including Types of Systems, Mechamism of Operations, Techniques, New Technologies and more.
