Description
SPIA with ORCAFLEX Level 3 is an advanced training program that focuses on the analysis and simulation of subsea pipeline installations using the ORCAFLEX software, covering advanced topics such as pipeline behavior, installation methodologies, dynamic response analysis, and riser interaction.
Participants in SPIA with ORCAFLEX Level 3 will gain a deep understanding of the complex dynamics involved in subsea pipeline installation, including considerations such as wave loading, soil interaction, bending moments, tension, and installation vessel operations.
The training program equips participants with advanced skills in using the ORCAFLEX software, a specialized tool for simulating the installation process, analyzing the behavior of the pipeline during installation, and assessing potential risks and challenges.
SPIA with ORCAFLEX Level 3 goes beyond basic pipeline installation analysis and explores advanced concepts such as lateral buckling, pipeline walking, spanning, fatigue analysis, and mitigating measures to ensure the integrity and stability of the subsea pipeline system.
The program includes hands-on exercises, case studies, and practical simulations to provide participants with real-world experience in conducting subsea pipeline installation analysis using ORCAFLEX, enabling them to make informed decisions and optimize installation procedures.
Fatigue Analysis:
Subsea Pipelines Installation Analysis (SPIA) with ORCAFLEX Level 3 is purely hands on workshop and gives a comprehensive understanding of how to use the OrcaFlex software for pipe lay analysis either using the simple or explict method. Deligate will learn how to defines x, y, z coordinates for each stinger support method based on project complexity.

Outcome
Participants will gain an in debt understanding of Subsea Pipelines Installation Analysis with ORCAFLEX at Level 3.
They will also be able to function with minimum supervision as a Subsea Engineer for IOCs, subsea pipeline company contractor, vendor or installation company.
Certificate of Completion
At the end of the course certificate of Completion Based on Scottish NVQ standard Level 4 & 5 shall be issued directly from Chess Subsea Engineering Europe.
